Blueberries

OK so Grayson is exploring right now and has found his nose and loves to put his finger in it. Gross but owell i guess it's a kid thing. so anyway....we were leaving Costco and grayson kept putting his finger in his nose. "grayson take your finger out" i would say..."i have to get the blueberry out" he would say..."you don't have a blueberry in your nose" i would reply. so this went on until we got home. I laid him down for his nap and when his daddy got home he was changing his diaper and saw something up his nose....Brandon came out to the living room with a blueberry in the tweezers!!!!!!!! This was in Grayson's nose he said!!! WHAT!!!!! so he was telling the truth...i would have looked eventually but i never thought he would put something up his nose!!!!! so we had a talk about putting nothing up our noses!!

updates

sorry i haven't updated this in awhile so now that i have a quick minute i'm going to write some stuff. we have been busy in the last couple of weeks since little lexington arrived. We had a great time with grandma and pappa here from South Dakota. The kids loved playing with their grandparents and wearing them down!! Grayson had a lot of fun with pappa out in the yard and running to walmart! Addison had fun with grandma she loved when grandma held her, she is as big as grandma!!!! She loved cuddling with her too!! We had a good time and we are so grateful that they were able to come out and help!! Thanks so much for coming out!!! We miss you guys!!

She is finally here

Well we have survived our 1st week home with our new precious daughter Lexington Jade. She is so cute, if i must say so myself!! The delivery went great we were at the hospital at 7am and she was born at 8:36 am. My doctor had a hard time getting her out, and my doc was surprised!!! I wasn't!!! He made the comment "wow where were you hiding in there, your big!!" OK doc I don't know if you have looked at me lately, but she wasn't hiding...she was totally out there!!! Anyway she officially tipped the scales at 8lbs 7 oz and 20" long. She is our biggest baby so far! When we left the hospital she was 7lbs 12oz on Friday and when we went to the ped doc on Monday she was back up to 8lbs 2 oz so she is holding her own :) She is doing so great! Her brother and sister absolutely adore her! Grayson loves to look at her and touch her. "look at her little toes" is what he loves to say...Addison always wants to know where her baby is. It's the first thing she does in the morning when she gets up..baby, baby, she looks all over for her. It's pretty cute!

Ferguson Family Fun Night

We had Fun night at Ferguson Tues night. We had a blast dying easter eggs. Grayson's hands are still green/blue from it. Addison had a good time, but I think she enjoyed the cookie more!!

Busy

We've had a busy past week! Wow!! I'm glad it's over, we have got a lot done this week it has been great. My poor husband I have been slaving him to death! I don't think we have gone to bed earlier than midnight all week and then he gets up at 5am and goes to work all day. May the Lord bless him and keep him! The Lord is our strength! He needs some rest though poor guy. I am truly thankful for him and everything he does!!! I think we have mostly everything done for now. I hope, if not we'll find out soon enough after she gets here. :) Brandon installed my new washer and dryer and I LOVE THEM!!!! I haven't exactly figured out everything yet but am working on it but I really like them! So needless to say I have been doing a lot of laundry lately, but enjoying every minute of it! The babies room is just about done, my parents are bringing a dresser from SD so when that gets here we will be set! Please pray for them that they have safe travels and the weather cooperates with them. I think the kids are getting excited, I have been trying to talk to them about it, but I don't think it will sink in until they see her. The Lord is changing my mind on how Addison will do I think she will be my little mother help to the baby, she loves babies and I am believing it's going to be all good! Saturday my very good friend Andrea threw a baby shower for me. It was so great and I was truly blessed by everyone who came. Andrea thought of everything! All the food was GF so i didn't have to worry about eating something that would make me sick!!!! The colors were pink and brown, we have pink and brown in the babies room so that's why. There were about 30 some ladies there! WOW!!! That's all I was thinking! Andrea's house was full! It was so great because some of the ladies from Ferguson came and also some ladies I used to work with at the hospital! It was so great to see them all! Plus all the wonderful ladies from my church! I love all the Church of the Harvest ladies, and boy do they know how to throw a party!! Thank you to everyone who brought food and flowers and helped before and after. I have been truly blessed by all of you! So baby Emineth got some pretty cool things...some really cute outfits that i just can't wait for her to wear! It's funny you look at them and they are all so small, its crazy how you forget how little they are when they first get here :) She also got diapers THANK YOU!! A free night of babysitting!! I really liked this one!!! and finally my husband got me a gift. He got me a new front load washer and dryer!!! I have been talking about how nice it would be with having 3 kids and how efficient they are. We had decided against getting them for now since ours work fine....well SURPRISE!!!! I am so speechless!!! I don't have words!!!

April 1st!

Grayson just got this new buzz doll and he loves it!! It has gone everywhere with him, except to bed. I know I know what a bad mommy, but there would be no sleeping so buzz has to be in his special spot at bed time. He also likes Mr. Potato head and here he is with potato head's ears in his, he thinks it's funny!

Addison is my little cleaner! She loves to wipe up things and carry around the dish towels. Hopefully this lasts into her teen years!

I had to take Addison to the doc today because she was "dimpling in" when she breathed or "retracting" which basically means she is having a hard time breathing. Her sats were good when we got there Praise God!! She didn't have a temp (my kids don't run temps so that really doesn't matter much) Anyways the doc gave her a neb treatment and it seemed to work YAH!! Plus she had a double ear infection WHAT!!!! She has made no sign of her ears hurting her, not pulling on them, sticking her fingers in them, NOTHING!!! So needless to say I was surprised! So we left the doc and went and purchased a neb machine so we don't have to keep renting them and went and got her perscriptions. She is napping now and on the road to recovery!! We PRAY!!! We need her to get better before this new baby comes!! We need spring!! It is raining and cold so i can't open the windows today darn it!! Out with my lysol again I guess, spraying everything down and washing bedding. I think the kids are just giving this darn thing back and forth to each other because it hasn't been nice enough for the weather to kill it yet. Soon spring will be here and all the sickness will be gone! In the mean time we will be praying that God heals her quickly!

New Look

I had a friend come over today and show me how to make my blog look cool..this is the result! I learned so much today plus had a lot of fun! All the boys got to play to which was fun for them. Overall it was a good day! The weather still isn't nice but hey at least there is no snow. My parents who live in SD had there 2nd snow day in 2 weeks today. It is very unlikely for them to have the kind of crazy snow that shuts the whole city down! It melts fast but when it hits it hits.

I am on the search for a Buzz Lightyear doll and Woody doll. Right now Grayson is into Toy Story he loves Buzz!! Well today I found a Buzz doll!!! We went and checked it out and I bought it for $5!!!! It looks like it has been played with but owell my little man doesn't care!! My little man is loving playing with his Buzz doll. He is going around the house "to infinity and beyond" it's so cute!!!

I am feeling good, tired, but good! 16 days and counting. She still doesn't have a name, but that's ok by the time she comes home she will. My excitment is overtaking my nervousness which is good. My shower is this weekend and I SOOO excited!! I can't wait to celebrate with my friends!

End in sight

I went to the doc today. The end is in sight. Wednesday April 15Th our new little bundle of joy will come into this world to great us! My excitement is taking over my anxiety. I know the Lord will provide his grace for me to make it through this season of life. He is so good and faithful!! Today the I asked the doc if I could start getting my garden ready. He didn't say no...but I could tell he really didn't like the idea. So maybe my husband will have to get the garden ready and I'll just supervise, we'll see. He also checked me because Brandon is going out of town on Monday and Tuesday and we just wanted to see where I was because I've been having a lot of discomfort and contractions on and off. Well....I'm only 1/2 cm...how disappointing, I was kinda hoping I would go in and be like a 3 or something cool like that, no such luck! O well this is good, we don't really want her to come early because we don't have any help here yet. My parents will be out here Easter weekend just in time for her arrival. We are at 19 days and counting!!!

I had a lady from church come over last night and take some belly pics! They are absolutely wonderful if i say so myself!! I love them!! She is a wonderful photographer so if you want some info on her just let me know. She'll come to your house or whatever. She's GREAT!! Here's some samples!! I am almost 36 weeks in these. We are having a little girl!

It was a good Sunday today! Church was great! It felt so good to be back after being gone for 3 weeks because of illness. We are all finally on the mend. I went to the doc on friday, they put me on anitbodics. I am feeling better and my ear is healing. Since we were all feeling better we went to Red Robin for Grayson's birthday lunch after church. He had a great time getting sung to and eating his ice cream sundae. Grayson does this funny thumbs up when he likes something now. I have no idea where he got it from but it sure makes us laugh!

Last night we went out and got Grayson 2 goldfish and a fish tank for his birthday..he loves fish and always wants to look at them when we are at Walmart..so we broke down and he got some fish. There is a orange one and a tiny white one. He loves feeding them and just staring at them during the day, it's pretty cute

we also had a nice day today so the kids were able to play outside a little bit in the afternoon. We are all finally feeling better plus the fresh air helps a lot! The kids love being outside, we can't wait for the summer!

Brandon new summer toy arrived yesterday so he couldn't wait to put it together tonight when he got home. I can't wait to use it either, but I think I'm going to need a class on how to operate it. We'll be inviting people over this summer for good BBQing!

feeling like i'm alive again

Today is much better!! Praise God!! I am actually feeling like I'm alive today, which is great! My kids and Brandon are feeling better too! So today I'm going to try to get some much needed house work done but without over dueing myself. I know I'll be needing a nap soon. I think it's nice enough outside that i can open my windows and let the kids play outside! I also have been seeing that people are going to be starting there gardens. I had one last year but it didn't go so well so I need to be seeking out people who are pros. If anyone has any pointers I'd love to hear them. We have some busy weeks from now until the baby comes, it's going to be here before we know it!! I'm excited but i'm a little nervous about having 3 little ones at home. God is good though and he'll bring me through!!

WOW I can't believe my baby is 3 today! I really want to take him to Red Robin so he can get sung to but we are all feeling so icky it probably won't be today, plus it's raining and cold..maybe later!!!

Grayson's 3rd bday

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO OUR BIG BOY WHO'S 3!!!

Grayson turns 3 on Monday the 16th but we celebrated today! We had a great day, a rough start but it ended great! Grayson (and the whole family) isn't feeling well and he wasn't excited to celebrate. It took him a little while but then he warmed up and had a great time! We had pizza, a monkey pinata, and cake. We had a great time. We had some difficulties with the pinata..his head broke away from his body but didn't spill any candy, so my brave husband held the pinata for the kids to hit it and break him open. Finally and after some help Grayson broke the pinata and all the kids ran in for the candy of their choice! The monkey cake was a hit too! We loaded all the kids up on junk and sugar and sent them home for a nap :) Grayson got some nice presents, so thank you all for everything. Thank you for sharing in our day! Thanks for making Grayson's 3rd bday so special. We cherish you all dearly.

baby Evelyn

We just went to the most precious Homegoing service. Friends of ours had a baby girl Evelyn, she had a heart condition and the docs weren't able to operate on her at Stanford in CA. They brought her home, here back to boise and she passed away last sat night. Today was her Homegoing service! It was so wonderful! Evelyn lived for just 12 days but she touched so many people coast to coast in that short time. My friends faith has been such and inspiration to me and many others. They never wavered in their faith. They trusted in the Lord and the Lord is bringing them peace and joy now knowing that there sweet baby girl is with him now!!! Please continue to pray for my friend Chris and Steph, for continued peace and Gods grace to be among them in the days, weeks, and months to come. We love you sweet baby Evelyn and we know that you are resting with Jesus...we are in awe of you that you are with him and someday we will all be able to see you again! Yes, we thought we had her room all done, it was so pretty...then....we put Addison in the crib for a nap...we went in there because we heard something funny....she had gotten ahold of the wallpaper on the long wall and ripped it!! Not just a little tear either!!! I had to take it all down and now I'm waiting for the new wallpaper to come in the mail so we can put it up again!! We were not very happy with her to say the least!!!! It was funny but not really!

on a happy note...Grayson will be 3 on monday!!! we are having his party this Sat and we are so excited!! his little friends will be over and were going to do a pinata (sp?) and a monkey cake..he is going to have a great time! I can't believe he's going to be 3 already!!! Time sure does fly fast!
